Amaro Alpino

High-Altitude Amaro

Fresh, piney, and built for bright, herbal drinks.

Flavor Profile:
Sweetness: Low
Bitterness: Medium-High
Herbal: High
Proof: Moderate

Tasting Notes:
Pine, honey, alpine herbs, resinous roots

Who It’s For:
If you like gin, alpine spirits, or forest-driven herbal profiles.

How to Use It:

  • With soda for a highball
  • In a 50-50 with your favorite mezcal
  • As a modifier in stirred drinks with tropical fruit, passionfruit is a favorite

Why It’s Different:
A distinctly fresh, forest-forward amaro that leans bright instead of heavy.

This amaro is a bittersweet distillation of 18 alpine botanicals, including chicory root, rhubarb root, spruce buds, elecampane root, and eucalyptus. They rest in non-GMO neutral grain spirit for two and a half weeks, are strained, and proofed down to 34% abv. They’re aged in Bourbon barrels in a two-stage Solera system that averages one year in age come bottling. It’s sweetened with a blend of organic dark clover honey and organic cane sugar and bottled. Delicious neat with lemon peel, 50/50 with mezcal, or in anything with tropical fruit.
